This week, we are happy to share a video that shows the way God is blessing the CHE Women’s Cycle of Life (WCL) ministry around the world. It is from Medical Ambassadors International (MAI), the organization that spearheads the CHE Global Network. Debbie participated in this training in May, and we trust the Lord will use it mightily in Cote d’Ivoire. One CHE worker already approached Verlin last week to say a group of women looks forward to Debbie’s return to learn and promote WCL (there are currently no active, traveling female trainers in Cote d'Ivoire). Besides the video to the right, you can view these links from the Global CHE Network and from MAI to further understand what the training involves :

Praise and Prayer:
  • The Lord provided a house for us that will cost a bit less than $150.00 per month to rent! More details later.
  • Debbie travels on Monday to attend the Michigan WAC State Retreat later in the week. Pray as she shares one time there and enjoys fellowship with the ladies. Ask for safety as she drives an old vehicle that has not been on long road trips recently.
  • Verlin returned to Abidjan on Saturday and will finish preparations for the university outreach this week. The CHE training will take place September 14-18. Several trainers are new on the team this year. Numerous challenges have popped up every few days, especially in regards to work schedules of some trainers who leave (i.e. take time off from) their full-time jobs to volunteer for this ministry opportunity. Thank you for bathing this event in prayer.
Your partners in the Gospel,
Verlin and Debbie
