Pass it on!

This week finds us in Abidjan for Community Health Evangelism (CHE) related activities. On Sunday evening a French doctor and her husband arrive from
Europe to stay until June 14 in Cote d’Ivoire. First they will be the speakers at a seminar at FATEAC in Abidjan (a West African seminary that trained FWB and many other leaders). Then they will travel north to Abengourou to hold a second training session. It will be our role and pleasure to provide their transport and assist with their needs.

As a couple, we too look forward to learning from their experiences. This physician is charged to develop CHE with Healthcare Christian Fellowship International (GBH in Cote d’Ivoire), the group that prayerfully seeks to develop 200 Christian clinics in underserved Ivorian areas. Her experience as a doctor and guiding very successful CHE ministries in other places makes her input invaluable. Likewise, her husband has developed an accompanying discipleship method that has equipped thousands of people.

Prayer Points:
  • GBH trained 22 participants in late April and then May 13-15 in Abidjan.
Participants included professionals from major hospitals in Abidjan like PISAM and CHU of Treichville. CHE trainers will follow up every 3 months to see how they progress in their activities.  
  • We are thankful that the Lord provided Corbin a summer job quickly in between college semesters. 
  • Pray for stamina, safety in travels, good rapport in the meetings, and for clear guidance for those who attend.
