The pastor who co-taught the lessons with Verlin will return to his home by public transport, while Verlin stays in the region a few days. Tomorrow he will preach at the host church. Then Monday and Tuesday he plans to meet with at least two, and possibly five, individuals or groups who consider starting CHE ministry, or who were trained and desire follow-up.
- The original Ivorian CHE trainer who was scheduled to assist Verlin became ill with malaria and could not make it. Verlin found out only a few days before time to leave. Thankfully, another pastor trained in CHE stepped up to the challenge on short notice so that Verlin did not have to teach 30 hours alone. Thank the Lord with us for this pastor's flexibility and generous heart!
- Ask for safe travels home for everyone at the training and productive meetings for Verlin. Pray that the newly prepared workers will reap a large harvest for Jesus in their various settings.
